This is our 6-lesson course for followers who are ready to serve.
Jesus once said to His followers, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”

If you’re wondering how God can use you to help other people, this course is for you! It’s designed to address people who are growing and maturing in their faith, who are establishing good faith-friendships here, and who would like to be more involved in what God is doing to bless people.
The purpose of this course is to show you some of the basic things you can do in order to pray effectively and to work with God in the larger dimensions of what Jesus is doing for people. It’s not only about learning new information – it’s about getting equipped and empowered to live out of the heart of God for people who live in your everyday world.
Course outline: there are six topics which we will cover, taking whatever time we need to finish them.
1. Saying “Yes” to the Holy Spirit: what does God do in our lives now? How can I learn to work with what He’s doing?
2. The Heart of All Ministry: God loves people! It’s a battle out there, but Jesus has already won the war! How can His victory be brought into the lives of people in our daily world?
3. Learning Faith: God is good! How can I trust God’s goodness to act for people for whom I pray? What is the range of issues in people’s lives that God is willing to address? What is “great faith,” and how can I acquire that?
4. Praying in the Spirit: God will help us pray: how does He do it? How can I cooperate with Him to do this?
5. Making a Difference: “where does it hurt?” how does God lead us to help people? what can we do to help people receive His blessing?
6. Fighting the Right Fight: when can Front Lines ministry occur? How can we personally grow and mature in Front Lines ministry? How can we help others join us as we follow Jesus into people’s lives?
The course layout: each lesson has study material. Some have worksheets. Some also have supplements of material you can look into later. In each lesson there will be something you can do to begin moving the teaching into your life.
To benefit from this course: it’s a group course, to be learned together, with each other, within the context of mentoring relationships, which will become available in the process of learning together. Some of this material is about how we can learn to think and believe in new ways – and much of the material (though not all of it) is about new things we can do in our new life to be more available to Jesus in His reach to people, His ministry to them.
